FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is NOVIQ SMTP sending email today?

Not yet. We are completing the customer portal and approval workflow first. The relay infrastructure is being prepared separately and sending will only be enabled once it has been deployed and tested.

What counts towards my allowance?

Usage is measured in individual recipient deliveries. One message to three recipients counts as three. Final counting rules for retries, rejections and duplicates will be published before billing begins.

Can I send marketing newsletters?

No. NOVIQ SMTP is intended for transactional and operational business email. Unsolicited bulk marketing, purchased lists and spam are prohibited.

Which ports will be supported?

Port 587 with mandatory STARTTLS before authentication. Port 465 with implicit TLS may be added after compatibility testing.

Do you guarantee inbox delivery?

No provider can honestly guarantee inbox placement. We report when a recipient mail server has accepted a message, which is not the same as delivery to an inbox.

Where is my data processed?

The SMTP relay is planned to run on infrastructure in the United Kingdom. The customer portal and some supporting services may use other regions; our sub-processor register will list these before launch.

Are prices final?

No. Prices shown are provisional and we are not currently charging customers.
